Home Support Officer

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Home Support Officer to join our team. This role requires fluency in Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing fortnightly staff rosters, coordinating daily schedules, processing payroll, and maintaining accurate records within the home.
This critical position embodies our person-centred approach, providing exceptional support and welcoming clients and their families during the moving-in process.
Key Responsibilities:- Respond to internal and external stakeholder inquiries and communicate effectively with resident families.
- Collaborate with the Service Manager to maintain up-to-date rosters and utilize rostering systems.
- Organize meetings, education schedules, and minute-taking.
- Order supplies and consumables as needed.
- Securely scan, upload, and file documents in the SharePoint system.
- Process invoices promptly.
- Communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Assist residents with tasks such as room preparation, transportation arrangements, and service bookings.
- Promote community connections and facilitate quality communication while maintaining confidentiality and respecting client rights.
- Certificate 3 in Business Administration, Customer Service, or equivalent experience.
- Flu vaccination and two COVID-19 vaccinations.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to problem-solve, negotiate, mediate, and resolve conflicts.
- High attention to detail and multitasking.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Client Data Management Systems, and other relevant software.
