About the RoleThis role will support and drive improvements in Workplace Health and Safety management and outcomes through effective risk management, performance improvement, purposeful leadership, and health and wellbeing. You will be based on site and carry out field safety duties, including audits and inspections, while building close working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Tertiary qualifications in health and safety, occupational hygiene, project management, business, or related fields, or demonstrated equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in technology and data analysis for developing H&S documents, training, and risk solutions.
- Extensive experience in high-risk environments, such as utilities, mining, construction, energy, and logistics, for effective H&S risk management.
- Background in customer-focused service delivery for aligning H&S products with stakeholder expectations.
- Skilled in interpreting and applying H&S legislation, policies, and standards.
- Experience in contributing to H&S documentation and processes.
- Ability to manage individual H&S improvement projects.
- Driver's licence and ability to travel within the State.
