We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rehabilitation Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will lead a small team of therapists and allied health assistants, providing high-quality physiotherapy assessment, treatment, and discharge planning for patients in the inpatient rehabilitation service.
You will be responsible for mentoring, clinical support, and supervision of staff within your designated area. Additionally, you will facilitate and evaluate quality activities within the service area and foster a collaborative multidisciplinary approach to achieve optimal patient care and outcomes.
The role requires a strong customer-centred focus, with the ability to assess and manage a wide range of conditions, including post-lower limb orthopaedic, spinal, and cardiac surgery, general medical, and reconditioning populations.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Registration as a physiotherapist with AHPRA
- Minimum of 7 years post-graduate experience (3+ years within a rehabilitation setting)
- Ability to effectively plan, implement, and evaluate physiotherapy treatment programs
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate clinical outcomes and practice based on evidence and research
- Ability to work weekends/public holidays on a roster basis
