Diesel Service Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Support Advisor to join our team. As a Product Support Advisor, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional service to our customers, ensuring the availability of their fleet and completing breakdown repairs and maintenance on site.
You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various engines, adhering to all relevant health, safety, and environmental policies, and reporting any issues or incidents to the Field Service Supervisor.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with Cummins engines, which is highly preferred. You will also need to complete required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, and quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Mechanical trades qualified as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic (to Australian standards)
- Experience as a Diesel Mechanic in the service and maintenance of HHP heavy diesel products in field service
- Cummins engines is highly preferred
- Solid diagnostic and IT capabilities
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to prioritize varying demands and act accordingly
This is an 8-day on, 6-day off position flying from Albany or Perth to Site Rio Tinto Brockman 4 Mine Site. Hitachi and Komatsu experience is desirable, but not essential.
