Role Summary:

We are seeking a Program Manager to develop and deliver weed management programs across the Pilbara region. The successful candidate will work closely with industry partners, stakeholders, and local communities to achieve sustainable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement on-ground weed control programs, including proposal development, contractor engagement, and scheduling.
  • Deliver on-ground weed control activities, focusing on surveillance, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Maintain accurate records, documents, and registers as per Incorporated Associations guidelines.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders through advocacy, education, and resourcing.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A keen interest in natural resource management and a drive to achieve sustainable outcomes.
  • Qualifications or experience in Natural Resources Management, Environmental Science, or Agricultural Science.
  • Ability to travel throughout the Pilbara region and work independently/remotely.
  • Strong financial management skills and experience in project management (ideally within grant and contract framework).
  • Excellent communication skills to work with diverse individuals and groups.
  • A current C-class driver's license.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

The following skills/experience would be beneficial but not essential:

  • Registration as a Licenced Pest Management Technician (LPMT).
  • Completion of Quad Bike Safety Course.
  • Experience with GIS mapping software such as ARCGIS.
