Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and adaptable professional to join our Mental Health team as a Carer Consultant. As a key member of the team, you will promote and provide guidance to the development and ongoing management of carer participation and systems advocacy in relation to consumer, carer and family related issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies for promoting carer participation and engagement
  • Provide guidance and support to carers and families on mental health issues and services available
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care and outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders
Requirements

As a confident communicator, you will engage respectfully and effectively with clients and other key stakeholders. You will draw on knowledge and expertise gained through reflection on your own lived experience to drive high quality care and customer service throughout the health service.

To be successful in this role, you will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You will also have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
