Lead Automation Tester

We are seeking an experienced Lead Automation Tester to spearhead the development and technical direction for our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the delivery of software solutions in a dynamic enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the development and technical direction of automation testing, ensuring seamless integration with cross-functional teams.
  • Develop and implement testing frameworks using C# to meet business needs.
  • Design and implement testing techniques for functional and non-functional testing, leveraging industry best practices.
  • Conduct test metrics and result analysis using various tools, providing actionable insights.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in test automation and test framework development, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Proficiency in C# for automation testing, including advanced programming concepts.
  • Strong design and implementation experience of testing frameworks, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Knowledge of testing techniques for functional and non-functional testing, including agile methodologies.
  • Experience with test metrics and test result analysis tools, including data visualization.

Preferred Skills:

  • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles, including inheritance and polymorphism.
  • Knowledge of automation frameworks, their types, structure, and components, with experience in implementing custom frameworks.
  • Familiarity with automation reporting tools like NUnit reports, ensuring accurate and timely results.
  • Familiarity with test management such as Jira, Agile Scrum, Trello, Azure DevOps pipelines for setting up automated builds and enabling CI/CD., SQL Server, DB2, Oracle, MySQL, and non-relational databases.
