Job Title: Restaurant and Bar Manager

A key role in our hospitality team, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant and bar. This includes managing staff, maintaining high standards of customer service, and ensuring that all areas are clean, well-stocked, and secure.

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Restaurant and Bar Manager. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading a team of staff to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain the highest standards of food and beverage quality.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the daily operations of the restaurant and bar, including staff supervision, inventory management, and cash handling.
  • Ensure that all areas are clean, well-stocked, and secure, with particular attention to health and safety standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Contribute to menu planning and development, including taste testing and budgeting.
  • Manage stock levels and ordering, minimizing waste and excess.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, costs, and other financial data.
  • Liaise with suppliers and vendors to negotiate prices and contracts.
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff, promoting career progression and employee engagement.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), making recommendations for improvement.
  • Participate in marketing and promotional activities to drive business growth.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional experiences.
  • Able to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team.
  • Highly organized and efficient, with excellent time management skills.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and basic accounting software.
