The Export Airfreight Operations Team Leader will lead a team of 4, responsible for all operations on a national profile. This is a hands-on role, leading from the front with the support of the Airfreight product leads. The successful candidate will work on CW1, leading and mentoring a great team.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and mentor a team of passionate Airfreight staff across multiple locations
- Hands-on role, actively handling files nationally
- Ensure airline, terminal and transport supplier relationships are strong
- Assist with costing and quoting potential opportunities
- Responsible for the department invoicing accuracy, including WIPS/Accruals
- Ensure all airfreight compliance is followed and maintained
- 5 years' experience in Export Airfreight Operations
- Experience in training, leading and/or mentoring Export Operations
- Hold valid Dangerous Goods, Cargo Acceptance/Screening and Aviation Security licences
- Demonstrated experience handling end-of-month finance close out
- Strong experience using CW1, exposure to PAVE an advantage
