We are seeking experienced English as an Additional Language (EAL) instructors to deliver high-quality education services across various community programs. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students from diverse backgrounds.

Job Description:

EAL instructors will be responsible for preparing and delivering engaging lessons focused on English language development. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, cultural competence, and the ability to adapt to diverse learning styles.

  • Deliver EAL classes in adult migrant English programs, skills for education and employment, and VET funded programs
  • Develop and implement effective lesson plans to meet student needs
  • Moderate and validate assessments to ensure accuracy and fairness
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Language Other Than English (LOTE) or Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL)
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, including design and develop assessment tools, address adult language and literacy, and numeracy skills modules
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing best practice in nationally recognized training and assessment
  • Familiarity with state-based EAL frameworks, guidelines, and standards
