About the Role

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced leader to lead our Financial Crime Operations team in Detection.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage a high-performing team responsible for critical frontline activities, including transaction monitoring, risk assessment, customer and payment screening, and regulatory report exception handling.
  • Coordinate day-to-day workflows and provide support to your team through complex investigations.
  • Evaluate risk-based decisions in a fast-paced environment and make informed choices that align with business objectives.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, empowerment, and continuous improvement within the team.
About You
  • A background in Financial crime/Sanctions and/or Payments is essential, with experience in areas like Live payments, Watch list Management, PEP investigations, SMR, IFTI, and TTR reporting.
  • A strong understanding of ML/TF typologies, High Risk customers, Transaction Monitoring Program, screening requirements, and regulatory reporting is required.
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to lead teams with empathy, clear communication, and bring out the best in team members.
  • Detailed-oriented and always looking for ways to improve processes.
