Assistant Restaurant Manager Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will work closely with the Restaurant Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the store and its employees.

The Role:

  • Supervising and managing employees, including juniors
  • Training and developing all staff to achieve outstanding results
  • Conducting performance evaluations and trialing new employees
  • Monitoring store performance and meeting key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Handling customer complaints and concerns, and running a drive-thru service
  • Cash handling and register operation, as well as cleaning and maintaining the store

Qualifications:

  • Strong management experience with a proven track record of success
  • Effective leadership skills, motivating and leading a young team, setting goals and ensuring they are achieved
  • Understanding and ability to enforce food safety regulations
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to change, with attention to detail to ensure the store is clean and in good running order
  • Training and development experience, with motivation to keep your team motivated and on task
  • Ability to work as a team with a friendly attitude and a genuine passion for the fast food industry
  • Working rights, passport and visa grant for international workers
  • RSA Certificate required within 30 days of commencing employment
