Job Opportunity

Deliver high-quality training and assessment services to students in the Electrical Supply Industry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering industry-standard training and assessment in Overhead Distribution (UET30621) and Underground Distribution (UET30821).

In this role, you will oversee the learning journey of apprentices and current workers, employing diverse teaching and assessment strategies tailored to their varied learning needs. You will also contribute to the validation and continuous enhancement of learning and assessment tools to support effective program delivery.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience as a trainer of ESI and VESI programs, with the ability to deliver industry-relevant skills that meet regulatory and safety standards. You will also possess current Electrical Supply Industry skills, lines worker registration with Energy Safe Victoria, and relevant underground cable jointer qualification (for UET30821).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop innovative training and assessment strategies to meet student and course requirements
  • Provide guidance and support to students to ensure they achieve their learning goals
  • Contribute to the validation and continuous enhancement of learning and assessment tools
  • Deliver high-quality training and assessment services to students in the Electrical Supply Industry

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment - TAE 40122 or equivalent predecessor or successor qualifications
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills essential for effective teaching
  • Ability to function autonomously, work independently and/or coordinate work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment
