About This Role

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic grounds maintenance professional to join our team. This role primarily focuses on gardening and grounds upkeep, ensuring that our surroundings are well-maintained and safe for residents. The successful candidate will provide quality property support services under limited supervision, in line with our values.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance of grounds, including mowing, edging, spraying, and upkeep of front yards.
  • General maintenance of buildings, plant, equipment, and surrounding grounds.
  • Delivering maintenance services consistently with our values.
  • Liaising with contractors, tradespeople, suppliers, and volunteers.
  • Managing work orders through computerised systems.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Previous experience in property maintenance and/or grounds maintenance.
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn.
  • High-level communication and customer service skills.
  • Working knowledge of WHS principles.
  • Physical fitness for heavy lifting, digging, and general grounds maintenance work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Empathy and patience with seniors.
