Job Opportunity

As a financial operations specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing project banking activities, ensuring timely payments to clients and suppliers.

Key tasks include:

  • Verifying necessary approvals before bank transactions are executed.
  • Providing cash flow analysis and forecasting for the project.
  • Supporting month-end processes and assisting with financial reporting cycles.
  • Maintaining vendor payment reports.
  • Providing timely analysis and reporting on liquidity, identifying potential risks.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary qualification in accounting or finance related field.
  • Membership to a professional accounting institution, such as the Institute of Chartered Accountants or CPA Australia.
  • At least 3 years' experience post-qualification.
  • Experience with Project Bank Accounts on construction projects is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP.
  • Strong analytical, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet strict compliance deadlines.
