Job Title: Senior Project Engineer

As an experienced and proactive project engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a major infrastructure upgrade project in NSW. The project involves the construction and upgrade of three major pump stations across Nyngan and Hermidale, including new river intakes, balance tanks, surge vessels, and mechanical and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Ensure cost-effective construction methodologies and identify improvement areas.">
  • Track project finances and review costs vs. budget.">
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and teams to resolve technical, commercial, and scheduling issues.">
  • Ensure materials and services meet quality requirements.">
  • Develop inspection test plans, monitor quality plans, and ensure compliance.">
  • Assess risks, implement hazard controls, and support incident investigations.">
  • Promote a strong safety culture through pre-starts and toolbox talks.">
  • Maintain quality documentation, manage project closeout, and finalize defect claims.">

Qualifications & Experience:

  • ">
  • Degree in Civil Engineering.">
  • 4+ years project engineering experience in the construction industry (civil, utilities, and water infrastructure projects highly desirable).">
  • Ability to communicate and liaise effectively with people at all levels, and other stakeholders as required.">
  • Strong skills in using Microsoft Office software and other relevant computer applications.">
  • Pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test.">
