Support Young Adults with Degenerative Conditions

We are seeking an experienced Support Worker to make a positive impact on the life of a young client living with a degenerative condition.

The ideal candidate will have good manual handling skills, including hoisting and wheelchair assistance, and be able to provide personal care assistance and support with daily activities.

  • Personal Care assistance and supporting with hygiene
  • Support the client with activities out in the community, offering companionship & friendship
  • Providing Support in everyday activities around the home
  • Using calm and clear verbal language to effectively communicate with clients
  • Confidence in manual handling tasks such as hoisting and wheelchair assistance

Variety of shifts available to suit your lifestyle (Mornings, daytime & Active nights)

About You

As an experienced Support Worker, you will bring a wonderful attitude and approach that is client centric.

  • Passionate about supporting children with a disability
  • Good Manual Handing skills including hoist
  • Experienced working with physical disabilities such as degenerative conditions

You must hold NDIS Clearance, Working with Children's Check, National Police Check & Current First Aid & CPR. Up to date Covid 19 vaccinations including booster shot.
