Job Title: Enterprise Desktop Professional

This position involves collaboration with a Federal Government Client team to design, develop, maintain and provide Level 3 support for various systems including SOE, enterprise messaging platforms, remote access solutions, application deployment, patching and updates.

  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Environments (SOE) for desktop software and device configurations.

  • Manage enterprise messaging and collaboration platforms to ensure seamless communication among teams.

  • Implement automated patching and update processes to ensure system reliability and security.

  • Deploy applications across supported environments to meet business needs.

  • Provide expert technical advice on ICT governance and management forums.

  • Resolve complex technical issues escalated from service desk and Level 2 support teams.

  • Collaborate with infrastructure, security and application teams to drive business outcomes.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including standard operating procedures and knowledge base articles.

  • Participate in planning and delivery of upgrades, migrations and new service rollouts to meet business objectives.

  • Monitor system performance and implement improvements for reliability, scalability and efficiency.

  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to ongoing service improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in IT with expertise in Windows 11, Microsoft Intune, Group Policy management, Mobile Device Management (MDM), Mobile Application Management (MAM), Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM), Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) and Australian Government ICT security frameworks.
