Our organization seeks an experienced Compliance Director to oversee the development and implementation of compliance frameworks that align with regulatory requirements.

About the Role:
  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial services compliance, with expertise in ETF products and Australian Financial Services License obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive compliance frameworks, policies, and monitoring tools.
  • Provide strategic regulatory advice to management and stakeholders, ensuring adherence to Australian and international regulatory requirements.
  • Lead compliance-related training and incident/breach reporting processes, fostering a culture of compliance within the organization.
  • Manage the review of marketing, product materials, and disclosure documents, ensuring their accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with regulators, auditors, and external compliance service providers to ensure seamless communication and effective risk management.
  • Mentor and lead a small team of compliance professionals, providing guidance and support to drive business growth while maintaining regulatory excellence.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in financial services compliance, with knowledge of ETF products and Australian regulatory requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree in law, business, finance, or a related field.
