Quality Manager Role Summary">

As a critical component of our organization, the Quality Manager will have the opportunity to leverage their leadership experience and skills to drive quality assurance across the business. This dynamic role will challenge you to think critically and develop innovative solutions to complex problems.

The Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring the effective implementation and management of the Network Aviation Part 42 Quality program. This includes proactively identifying latent conditions and safety risks, as well as managing all aspects of the Network Quality Management Systems. You will work closely with key stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that the CAMO complies with the requirements of CASR Part 42 and MOS
  • Implement and monitor the CAMO Quality System, including internal reviews as required by Part 42 MOS
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure compliance is met
  • Provide oversight and assurance of contracted maintenance organizations related to aircraft and aeronautical product maintenance activities
  • Deliver training to CAMO staff and review policy, procedures, and compliance relating to the fleet

This is a full-time opportunity based in our Perth Airport office.

Requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate confidently and positively
  • Knowledge of regulations and standards applicable to continuing airworthiness of aircraft
  • Airworthiness quality management experience in aviation and at least 2 years' experience in Quality Management Systems
  • Formal Lead Auditor training with experience in auditing aircraft schedules
  • Knowledge and understanding of aircraft reliability programs, mandatory and non-mandatory ICA assessments
  • Qualify to be approved by CASA as a CASR Part 42 Form 4 holder
  • Demonstrated understanding of human factors principles highly regarded
