Senior Surface Infrastructure Mechanic

The Maxwell Underground Mine is currently seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to provide technical support for the operation and installation of mine infrastructure.
About The Job
We are looking for an experienced professional who can apply engineering standards while supporting asset management, maintenance, and reliability to ensure operational efficiency and optimisation.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement mechanical engineering plans and procedures for surface operations.
- Evaluate the impact of planned capital and maintenance activities on asset condition and associated risks.
- Collaborate with internal teams and contractors to achieve project goals.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- NSW Practising Certificate – Mechanical Engineering Manager is highly desirable.
- Experience in a mining environment or similar heavy industry.
- Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations in mining.
- Excellent technical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
