Software Solutions Architect Opportunity

We're building a new community around Python and open-source applications, running on Kubernetes. Our goal is to transition Canonical and Ubuntu IS workloads onto this innovative, open-source codebase.

This team will productize those workloads for real-time automated operations on Kubernetes. We're seeking technically astute engineers who are passionate about cloud computing and excited to join a global team delivering world-class services to customers.

The role involves designing and delivering high-quality software operations code in Python, working across the Linux stack, and thinking critically about application and infrastructure reliability. You'll shape open-source monitoring and alerting infrastructure, simplify operations for our customers and community, and demonstrate sound engineering principles.

You'll contribute to ensuring robust software architecture and adhere to best practices in testing, documentation, and quality assurance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing software solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Developing Python-based software operations code.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
