Water and Sewer Planning Specialist

This role is pivotal in enhancing the capabilities and reputation of our Asset Management & Planning team. You will collaborate with talented professionals on iconic projects to drive future-ready outcomes that benefit clients and communities.

We promote holistic, sustainable water resource management for governments, investors, developers, manufacturers, utilities, and corporations, assisting with network maintenance and development, risk mitigation, regulatory compliance, cost reduction, and forward-thinking strategies.

  • Lead technical assessments of water supply and sewerage networks.
  • Conduct strategic and master planning, options assessments, feasibility investigations, and detailed planning projects.
  • Develop business cases and provide technical expertise across a broad range of projects.
  • Plan and understand the operation of water supply and sewerage networks.
  • Implement hydraulic principles, including experience in hydraulic modeling.
  • Analyse data using GIS, Excel, and decision support methodologies.

You will have exposure to and support our asset management and strategy development functions and work with key clients across Australia.

We seek an experienced Planning Engineer to join our National Asset Management and Planning team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have:

  • A recognised Bachelor's Degree (Engineering) or Equivalent.
  • Chartered status CPENG an advantage.
  • Experience leading the delivery of efficient and effective engineering consultancy services.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
