Clinical Nurse Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Nurse Educator to join our dynamic team at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Randwick, NSW.
About the Role:The Clinical Nurse Educator will provide coordination, delivery, and evaluation of clinical nurse education at the ward/unit level. This includes orientation and transitioning for new nursing staff, undergraduate and casual nurses, as well as meeting the ongoing educational needs of existing nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement clinical education programs for nursing staff
- Provide clinical supervision and support to nursing staff
- Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of clinical education programs
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to improve patient care and outcomes
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia
- Relevant clinical or education post-registration qualification or 3 years clinical experience in the field
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of teaching and learning in the health care environment (adult learning principles)
- A workplace culture that promotes person-centered care approaches and staff wellbeing
- Orientation and supported transition into your new role
- Targeted clinical stream education programs affiliated with university partners
