Clinical Nurse Educator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Educator to join our team at St Vincent's Private Hospital Sydney. As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you will play a key role in enhancing the skills and knowledge of our nursing staff, providing education that is based on current best practices.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan, coordinate, deliver, implement, and evaluate clinical education needs at the unit level and across the organisation.
- Develop and deliver educational programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of nursing staff.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure that education is aligned with organisational goals and objectives.
- Conduct needs assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address these needs.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and make recommendations for improvement.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professional Regulation Agency.
- Recent extensive experience within perioperative services.
- Hold relevant clinical and/or education post-graduate qualification/s.
- Demonstrated knowledge of innovative educational strategies, tools, and approaches.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within the interdisciplinary team and demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
