Job Opportunity: Registered Midwife

Mater Mothers' Hospital is a leader in providing high-quality maternity and newborn services for the people of Queensland. We provide exceptional care and support to women and their families, covering obstetrics, gynaecology, neonatology, and maternal fetal medicine.

Role Overview
  • Provide exceptional midwifery care in Public and Private Antenatal and Gynaecology Inpatient wards.
  • Manage a significant range of patients, from early pregnancy to postnatal care, with a focus on high-risk pregnancies.

As a Registered Midwife, you will be part of a highly skilled and professional team, utilising your expertise in caring for women and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and assess patient care, managing risks and communicating effectively within a multidisciplinary framework.
  • Work in partnership with women and families to deliver family-centred care.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with colleagues and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care transitions.

For this role, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced midwife with excellent interpersonal, communication, and clinical problem-solving skills.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Current registration with AHPRA.
  • At least one year of post-graduate experience.
