Dessert Preparation Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Food Production Kitchen Assistant to join our team at St Vincent's Private Hospital. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food safety and quality in our production kitchen.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain high levels of professional standards in servicing patients across the hospital campus
- Prepare and cook meals, including desserts, sandwiches, and hot meals
- Weigh ingredients for recipes and follow written instructions
- Work in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of meal preparation
- Collaborate with the kitchen supervisor and head chef to achieve goals and objectives
- Good communication skills
- Availability to work rotating shifts
- Able to take directions and read recipes
- High degree of personal hygiene and safe food practices
- Basic computer literacy
- Knowledge of HACCP requirements
