Key Role: Stock Loss Analyst

This position involves partnering with the National Operations Loss Team to provide actionable insights and business performance reporting for Australian Supermarkets related to stock loss. You will work within the operations finance team, offering broad exposure to supermarkets, including results, insights, benefits analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and executive reporting across various stakeholders.

The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver high-quality analysis and commentary on departmental and category performance, supporting weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting. Additionally, you will drive performance improvement by leading forecasting and planning processes to enhance financial and operational outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Performance Insights: Provide in-depth analysis and commentary on departmental and category performance, including underlying loss.
  • Drive Performance Improvement: Lead forecasting and planning processes to enhance financial and operational outcomes.
  • Optimize End-to-End Performance: Collaborate with operational and finance stakeholders to improve overall performance and decision-making.

You will have the opportunity to cultivate strong relationships across teams and embrace change to achieve goals. The ideal candidate will possess a CPA/CA qualification or equivalent experience, preferably with multinational FMCG or retail experience.

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to navigate uncertainty and shifting priorities.
