About the Role

As a Transformation Program Manager at Davidson, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and improvement through large-scale transformation projects. Your expertise in project governance and reporting will be instrumental in delivering timely and within-scope results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management and Coordination: Lead and oversee day-to-day project management activities to ensure all tasks are progressing according to plan. Collaborate with workstream leads to maintain project schedules, track deliverables, dependencies, and timelines.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Track and report on overall project health, including scope, schedule, cost, risk, and quality metrics. Develop and deliver progress updates to senior stakeholders, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.
  • Risk and Issue Management: Proactively identify, document, and manage project risks and issues. Work closely with workstream leads and the project team to develop mitigation strategies and escalate critical risks as necessary.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Act as a central point of contact for workstream/work-package leads, facilitating communication and collaboration across teams. Ensure key stakeholders are informed of project progress, changes, and decisions that may impact project objectives.
  • Governance and Compliance: Ensure project governance frameworks are followed. Support senior managers in preparing for governance meetings, including steering committee sessions and project reviews.
  • Reporting: Develop project status reports, dashboards, and senior stakeholder-level reporting. Utilize data-driven insights to inform project decisions and maintain overall project health.
  • Change Control: Manage change requests, evaluating their impact on scope, schedule, and resources. Maintain a change and decision log to ensure transparency and accountability.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in project management or PMO roles, preferably in large-scale transformation or transition programs.
  • Proven expertise in project governance and reporting, including development of project status reports, dashboards, and senior stakeholder-level reporting.
  • Strong risk and issue management capabilities, with a demonstrated ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks in complex implementation projects.
  • Advanced communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of using data-driven insights to inform project decisions.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, MS Suite, JIRA) with the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
About You

We offer a competitive salary of $119 per hour + Super, plus a contract up to 30 June 2025. This is a full-time position based in Brisbane CBD, Monday to Friday.
