Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to join our team in Newcastle. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality in-home care services to our customers.

Job Summary:

This is a permanent part-time position that offers a guaranteed number of hours and shifts each week. You will work closely with our customers to provide domestic assistance, meal preparation, shopping support, and social companionship. If you have a genuine passion for helping others and making a positive impact on people's lives, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing domestic assistance, including cleaning and maintaining a safe and comfortable living environment
  • Assisting with meal preparation and grocery shopping
  • Offering social companionship and transportation to lifestyle activities
Requirements:
  • A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle (travel is an essential part of the role)
  • A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and a positive experience for our customers
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Availability to work at least 3 days per week, Monday to Friday (no night or weekend work)
