Nurse Practitioner - Clinical Assessment Specialist
About the Role:We are seeking to appoint an experienced Nurse Practitioner as a Clinical Assessment Specialist within our Medical Assessment Coordination Unit (MACU).
This is an opportunity for an individual with expertise in clinical assessment and patient management to enhance their skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.
You will work with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes, providing high-quality care and participating in decision-making regarding patient management.

Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments of patients to inform treatment plans and improve patient outcomes
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective care strategies
- Provide education and support to patients, families, and carers to promote positive health outcomes
- Current Authority to Practice as an Enrolled Nurse or Registered Nurse with AHPRA
This role is based at a major metropolitan hospital and requires flexibility to work across various shifts, including days, afternoons, and nights.
