The Learning & Capability Lead will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's culture and capabilities, driving continuous learning, and embedding best practices throughout the organization.

About the Role

This full-time position is based at our Docklands office, with opportunities for hybrid working. The successful candidate will be required to travel to various Melbourne Water locations and possess a valid Driver's Licence.

Reporting to the Manager Learning & Leadership Capability, this role involves owning the portfolio of core capability curriculum, including the implementation of identified mindsets and habits within our learning framework.

Key responsibilities include creating and driving a culture of continuous and conscious learning, educating the business on effective learning methods, facilitation, delivery, and management of engaging learning experiences and programs, as well as coaching.

Requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and influence stakeholders where necessary
  • Strong knowledge of learning theory, innovative learning approaches, technologies, and emerging trends
  • Significant experience in Learning and Organisational Development environments or related fields, including workplace culture and leadership skillsets
  • Exceptional facilitation skills
  • Excellent communication skills and high-level customer service orientation when dealing with internal and external stakeholders
  • Able to work independently
  • Certificate IV Training and Assessment
  • Tertiary qualifications in L&D/OD/HR or equivalent experience
  • Accreditation in behavioural profiling preferred (not compulsory)
  • Valid Victorian Driver's license
  • Ability to pass a criminal record check
