Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Instrumentation Technician to join our team. As an Instrumentation Technician, you will be responsible for installing, calibrating, and troubleshooting various weighing and measuring instruments and scales. Your primary objective will be to ensure these devices function optimally, identifying potential issues and implementing solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Installation and Calibration: Install and calibrate weighing and measuring instruments and scales in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and industry standards.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and resolve equipment issues using technical manuals and schematics, ensuring prompt resolution and minimizing downtime.
  • Maintenance and Upgrades: Regularly inspect and maintain instruments and scales, performing software updates and hardware upgrades as necessary.
  • Customer Service: Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, providing exceptional service and support throughout the instrument lifecycle.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately document service calls, maintenance visits, and other relevant activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations and company policies while working on job sites, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree in electronics or instrumentation preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of weighing and measuring instruments and scales.
  • Skill Set: Experience with electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems, as well as strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required, with occasional interstate travel possible.
