We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Assistant Principal to join our team at Hazel Glen College. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in supporting the Principal and Deputy Principals in the development and implementation of the school's strategic plan.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development and implementation of the school's curriculum and assessment programs
  • Provide leadership and support to teachers and staff in the areas of teaching and learning, student wellbeing and support, and school operations
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with the Principal and Deputy Principals to ensure the effective management of the school's resources and budget
  • Provide guidance and support to students and parents in areas such as academic progress, student wellbeing and support, and school operations
Requirements:
  • Provisional or full registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role in a school setting
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and support staff
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and staff
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a focus on student outcomes and school improvement
