Job Description

The primary purpose of this role is to assist the Store Manager in upholding the daily store operations, ensuring maximum sales and profitability through merchandising execution, expense management, team development, and customer service.

This includes but is not limited to:

  • Managing the overall quality and performance of retail store staff.
  • Ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Modeling effective leadership to drive commitment to store goals and training standards.
  • Recruiting, selecting, and training store personnel.
  • Providing feedback on annual performance evaluations for store employees.
  • Assisting with expense management and developing strategies to position stores for success.
  • Monitoring operational compliance, safety, and business standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education And/Or Experience

  • A minimum of one year in retail management experience.

Skills And Knowledge Requirements

  • Solid knowledge of business principles and excellent command of the English language to communicate effectively.
  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive situations.
  • Ability to think strategically, plan, and organize effectively.
  • Professionalism in all situations.
  • Proficient analytical ability to gather data, solve problems, and prioritize work.
  • Results driven with critical thinking; project management, time management, and organizational skills.

Benefits

Assistant Manager pay range: $17.25 per hour. Bonus opportunity if guidelines are met. All roles are eligible for the company 401K plan. Full-time roles will be eligible for medical, dental, vision, and company-paid time off.
