Overnight Operations Supervisor

The role of an Overnight Operations Supervisor is a vital part of the hotel's success.

In this position, you will oversee various operational aspects of the hotel during nighttime hours, including guest check-ins and check-outs, handling wake-up call requests, processing payments, and managing property management systems.

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure smooth hotel operations in the absence of senior management, maintaining safety, security, and overall efficiency.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Guest Services: Process guest arrivals, departures, and manage wake-up calls.
  • Payment Processing: Handle room charges, debit/credit transactions, cash, and cheques according to established procedures.
  • Audit Management: Run or oversee night audit property management systems.

You will work closely with front office staff and other departments to maintain seamless hotel operations. To succeed in this role, you will need strong multitasking skills, excellent communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with Hotel Front Office operations and experience in similar roles.
  • Knowledge of Opera and PMS software is essential for accurate auditing and payment processing.
  • Excellent verbal communication and listening skills, along with customer service experience.
  • Strong understanding of accounting and mathematics skills for accurate auditing and payment processing.
