Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Autism Support Specialist to join our team. As a vital member of our support staff, you will work directly with individuals with Autism and their families to help them achieve their goals and live the life they choose.

In this role, you will provide personalized support to our clients, helping them develop daily living skills, participate in community activities, and build meaningful relationships. Your expertise and empathy will enable you to tailor your approach to meet the unique needs of each individual, fostering a sense of belonging and inclusivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct support to individuals with Autism, including daily living skills training and community engagement.
  • Develop and implement personalized support plans, working collaboratively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders, promoting a culture of respect and understanding.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Unrestricted Working Rights in Australia
  • Full Driver's Licence (No P-plates)
  • A Suitable 4 Door Vehicle
  • Experience Working with People with Disabilities
  • Good Verbal and Non-verbal Communication Skills
  • Sound Decision Making and Problem-Solving Skills
