Operational Leadership RoleJob Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced operational leader to oversee the delivery of Building Engineering Services across Australia. As a senior manager, you will be responsible for driving business excellence and collaboration to support sustainable growth.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in managing operations and performance, with experience in championing business growth and promoting organisational values.

You will lead cross-functional teams, foster a high-performance culture, and drive continuous improvement in operational processes and procedures.

Achieving financial performance targets is critical to this role, including monitoring bookings, revenue, and profit. You will also champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead operational delivery of Building Engineering Services across Australia
  • Manage operations and performance to drive business excellence and collaboration
  • Champion business growth and promote organisational values
  • Lead cross-functional teams and foster a high-performance culture
  • Drive continuous improvement in operational processes and procedures
  • Monitor and achieve financial performance targets
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification and professional registration
  • Minimum 15 years of experience within consulting engineering
  • Significant time in senior leadership roles with experience managing operations, driving profitability, and mentoring talent

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated understanding of financial management, including budgeting and forecasting
  • Experience owning and growing a P&L for an engineering cost centre
  • Strong experience leading cross-functional teams and fostering a collaborative culture

Additional Information:

This position requires travel domestically and internationally to connect with clients and colleagues.
