Lead Turf Management Specialist

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and supervising a committed group of professionals to deliver high-quality turf management services across the city's public open spaces. Our organization is committed to delivering award-winning services and facilities that exceed customer expectations.

You will possess exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling you to communicate effectively with staff, contractors, and the community. Your experience in staff supervision, contractor management, safety and health legislation, and turf management will be invaluable assets to our team.

  • Advanced knowledge of turf management and public open space maintenance
  • Comprehensive knowledge in the preparation and implementation of cyclical maintenance schedules
  • Strong written and interpersonal skills, particularly verbal communication
  • Intermediate level of computer literacy skills
  • Strong supervisory skills in relation to WHS monitoring
  • Extensive demonstrated experience in the supervising operational maintenance requirements of all turf and public open space functions, including in-house field staff and contractors
  • Experience in human resource management, inclusive of performance management of underperforming employees
