Primary Learning Support Position

You will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) and working closely with teachers to ensure students receive the support they need to succeed.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement IEPs for Tier 3 case management students
  • Provide tailored academic support to students in need
  • Collaborate with teachers and health professionals to identify areas of concern and develop intervention strategies
  • Maintain Student Snapshots profiles for students with specific learning difficulties
  • Oversee the practices and processes for supporting students with disability through NCCD data collection and reporting
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Education or equivalent tertiary qualification
  • Postgraduate qualification in Special Education or equivalent industry experience
  • Registration with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT)
  • Current First Aid Certificate in an Education and Care environment
  • CPR Certificate
