Operating Room Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Operating Room Imaging Specialist. As part of our dynamic healthcare organization, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and operating imaging equipment in the Operating Room environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide coverage for C-arm and O-arm procedures in the OR setting.
  • Perform X-ray procedures for surgical interventions with precision and accuracy.
  • Collaborate closely with medical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain equipment functionality and adhere to established safety protocols.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training programs to stay current with advancements in the field.

Requirements:

  • Valid certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) with ARRT registration.
  • Current BLS certification is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a Level I Trauma or teaching hospital setting.
  • Proficiency in operating C-arm and O-arm systems is essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for success in this role.

Work Environment:

  • This position involves working in a fast-paced outpatient/inpatient environment.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience working in an Operating Room setting.
  • Level I Trauma and teaching hospital experience is highly desirable.

X-ray Procedure Experience:

  • Surgery/C-Arm experience is a must for this role.
