We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead engineering teams and deliver regulated brownfield substation replacement/augmentation projects throughout NSW.

As a senior engineer, you will drive the engineering function within project teams, working closely with project managers to ensure smooth execution from design through to close-out.

A Day in the Life

You will take ownership of technical coordination, procurement, materials, construction, and start-up activities—playing a vital role in turning plans into reality.

  • Coordinate design responses, procurement, construction, and close-out activities.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Prepare reports, track project performance, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
About this Role

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has:

  • Degree qualification in engineering or substantial industry experience in large-scale projects.
  • Technical expertise in substation or transmission line construction.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and report writing skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, Australian Standards, and construction contracts.
