Manufacturing Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable Manufacturing Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately completing production records and documentation.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Performing quality checks on products
  • Batching and preparation of ingredients
  • Setting up production equipment and ensuring it is in good working order
  • Manual handling and lifting
  • Manually packing products into cartons
  • Assisting with warehouse duties
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and tidy working environment through regular cleaning of the processing area and equipment

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task
  • Total commitment towards safety
  • Ability to learn and follow site-specific procedures
  • Be a team player and interact well with others
  • Previous experience working in food manufacturing or an industrial kitchen
  • Be reliable and flexible
  • Basic literacy & numeracy skills
  • Have a reliable mode of transport
  • Be able to pass a pre-employment medical assessment
