Food Production Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Food Preparation Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, cleaning, and packing down equipment and workspaces, as well as preparing ingredients for production in the cooking/preparation area according to predetermined recipes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, clean, and pack down all equipment and workspaces
- Locate and prepare ingredients for production in the cooking/preparation area as per predetermined recipes
- Control and process the preparation of ingredients through specialized equipment to finish with correctly prepared ingredients
- Identify and notify when ingredients do not conform to specifications
- Assist the team in other areas of the food manufacturing process to ensure a completed product within production timeframe requirements and customer expectations
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience in cooking/prep (desirable)
- A proactive attitude and initiative
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
