Role

The role of a Gardener Handyperson is multifaceted and crucial to maintaining a positive learning environment at Glengarry Primary School.

Key responsibilities include overseeing turf areas, garden beds, and shrubs, as well as managing hard landscaping features such as courts and paving.

The ideal candidate will be proactive in identifying tasks and take pride in their work, ensuring the school grounds are safe, tidy, and conducive to a positive environment for students and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain the school grounds, including lawn care, pruning, and weeding.
  • Create and maintain an inviting outdoor space that supports student learning and well-being.
  • Perform general gardening duties, including equipment maintenance and chemical management.
  • Work independently, taking initiative and ownership of tasks.
Skills and Qualifications
