About Our Client

Programmed specializes in industrial remediation services and asset preservation solutions across various sectors, including infrastructure, mining, marine, defense, and commercial.

The company is currently seeking an Industrial Project Coordinator to join their defense solutions team at their Adelaide office.

This role involves managing diverse responsibilities, including budget reporting, procurement, client liaison, labor planning, and project documentation. The coordinator will play a pivotal role in organizing work fronts, planning tasks, and ensuring quality compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support project delivery by managing and executing defined projects in line with best practices, client standards, and business objectives.
  • Prepare project documentation, including plans, Gantt charts, and specifications for minor projects.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and monitor assigned engineering projects.
  • Coordinate all project elements, including quality assurance, logistics, reporting, compliance, subcontractor management, and equipment control.
  • Provide administrative support for projects by managing briefs, schedules, action logs, budgets, and performance monitoring.
  • Collaborate with Site Supervisors, Project Managers, and other personnel, offering assistance and technical support.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Asset Remediation, Civil Construction, Infrastructure, or Defense environments.
  • A relevant degree in Engineering.
  • Expertise in coatings, surface preparation, hazardous substances management, and application processes is highly preferred.
  • Experience in asset remediation, blasting and painting, and concrete rehabilitation is highly desirable.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
  • Ability to meet project deadlines, manage budgets, and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of approximately $80,000-$110,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with opportunities for professional development and advancement.
