About the Role

The Hospital Assistant will provide efficient and effective cleaning services in all areas of the hospital to ensure a clean environment and minimize healthcare-associated infections.

This role is ideal for an experienced cleaner who is able to work autonomously and liaise with staff, volunteers, patients, and visitors to get the job done.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high standards of cleanliness and safety in all areas of the hospital
  • Facilitate patient-centred care by ensuring a clean and safe environment
  • Work effectively with the healthcare team to provide a seamless service
Requirements
  • Experience as a cleaner in a Health or Aged Care environment (desirable)
  • Able to effectively follow directions and complete tasks
  • Able to communicate in English, both written and verbal
  • Capable of working autonomously and liaising with staff, volunteers, patients, and visitors
