Systems Network Specialist

At Northrop Grumman, we are building our business and capabilities in the Defence sector. We strive to be a great place to work and deliver sovereign capability through our MQ-4C Triton Unmanned Aircraft System.

The system provides real-time intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance over vast ocean and coastal regions. It can fly for more than 24 hours at an altitude above 55,000 feet and has an operational range of 8,200 nautical miles.

As a Systems Network Specialist, you will identify and manage Triton network integration risks by engaging closely with customers to mitigate impact on safety and capability. You will collaborate with US counterparts to develop technical knowledge of Triton networks and become a Subject Matter Expert on Triton Network systems and integration protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and manage Triton Network integration risks through close customer engagement to mitigate impact on safety and capability.
  • Collaborate with US counterparts to grow and develop technical knowledge of Triton networks.
  • Become a Subject Matter Expert on Triton Network systems and integration protocols.
  • Support ongoing management of the Triton mission system through evaluation and assessment of Triton network changes.
  • Deliver assigned outcomes from the Triton Interim Support Contract and relevant statements of work.

About You:

  • Hold a degree qualification in IT or Engineering.
  • Have experience working with multiple stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
  • Be proficient in Network Engineering, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent level of Cisco Certification.
  • Have skills in network development life cycle process, routing and switching systems, defence systems, Network information and event management systems, simulations and load tests, programming languages, and more.
