Job Overview

The Early Childhood Regulatory Authority is seeking senior officers to join its regulatory team. As a senior officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of early childhood education and care services across Queensland.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply relevant legislation, standards, policies, and guidelines in the regulation of the early childhood education and care sector.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders, including regional offices and early childhood providers and services.
  • Conduct assessments and ratings of education and care services.
  • Support the delivery of regulatory outcomes.
About You:
  • You have experience as a regulator or can rapidly acquire knowledge of regulating the early childhood education and care sector.
  • You have experience in conducting assessments and ratings or can rapidly acquire knowledge and complete training.
  • You can analyse evidence and create analysis.
  • You can communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • You can prioritise and complete projects efficiently.
  • You can manage risk and prioritise work.
  • You can work collaboratively with stakeholders.
  • You are passionate about early childhood and focused on the health, safety, and wellbeing of children.
