The role:

We are seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join our night cleaning team at Canberra Centre in Canberra, ACT. The rosters for these positions are:

**Full Time Roster:** Monday to Friday - 10:24 PM to 6:00 AM

**Part Time Roster:** Monday to Thursday - 6:00 PM to 1:36 AM, Friday - 10:30 PM to 6:00 AM

These positions are paid according to the Cleaning Services Award.

**Requirements:**

- Be well-presented, proactive, and able to work independently
- Prior commercial or retail cleaning experience preferred (on-the-job training will be provided)
- Understanding of chemical handling procedures and proper cleaning techniques (or willingness to learn)
- Experience with cleaning machinery (scrubbing, buffing, car park sweeper) preferred
- Good knowledge of and commitment to safe working practices
- Be physically fit to carry out standard duties and ability to walk for lengthy periods
- Good listening skills and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to communicate in verbal and written English
- Ability to work flexible hours and public holidays
- Must be willing to obtain a National Police Clearance Check
- Must have valid work rights in Australia
